PHAT Fest - our goal is to provide a bi-annual event that attracts youth and families out of their communities to share in competitive/non-competitive talent exhibition and presentation that promotes obesity awareness and nutrition education and encourages physical activity for the purpose of improving health and wellness.
PHAT Fest - our purpose is to make a difference by educating and informing the community of the physical dangers and social harm associated with obesity; To share prevention information and provide health and wellness support and resources to combat issues of being overweight among youth and adults. PHAT Fest is where we unite the populace with the science community in collaboration with educators, business and government, to take action against the obesity epidemic that Texas and the rest of the country faces. Talent competition encourage youth and teens to be physically active and to practice and perfect routines to high levels of perfection.
